Riechers Spence & Associates created the construction drawings as well as performed construction staking and prepared the Use Permit for the Napa Valley Fire Station #4.
A specific challenge during construction of this project was keeping the access above the Napa River Base Flood Elevation while assuring that the Fire Truck would be able to enter and leave without grounding out on the pavement. Another challenge was creating a way to separate the wash down water from cleaning the fire truck and the storm water runoff from rainfall. To accomplish this, we created specialized valve and control system connected to the wash down hose bib.
