RSA provided civil engineering services to this unique luxury resort. Calistoga Ranch, a 157-acre parcel of guest lodges, a private restaurant, swimming pool and spa tucked into a secluded canyon that is a product of Auberge Resorts.
The Domestic Water System installed by the contractor was running on a constant basis. RSA went into the field, troubleshot the system and corrected this problem. Also, the Fire Department required the fire sprinklers to be provided with a back-up power source in case of emergency, and required this after the installation of piping and pumps had taken place. Rather than install an $80,000 generator, Riechers Spence designed a cross-connection between the domestic system and the fire system to meet their requirements. This creative solution saved the owner approximately $75,000.
