This proposed 950-lot master-planned community is located in a largely undeveloped area of the City of Coachella in the thriving Palm Desert area of Riverside County. The development has had many governing constraints that have made this a very unique project. The project design incorporates stormwater infiltration basins, that also serve as detention basins, as well as a public parks, a new school site and remainder parcel for a future municipal water tank. This project also required extension of public sewer and water mains to serve the project. We have worked closely with the City and County of Coachella and the Coachella Valley Water Agency to obtain entitlements and prepare Improvement Plans that encompass all of the agencies' requirements, while still creating a distinctive project that will be a model for future subdivisions in the area.
