Riechers Spence & Associates provided Tentative Map services, as well as construction plans including grading, drainage and erosion control, and hydraulic and hydrologic study. We needed to incorporate water detention within mitigated wetlands area in this 25 lot subdivision.
The offsite wetlands/detention basin created a bit of a problem. The task was solved with our continuous coordination with the City, State and Federal agencies as well as a private wetlands design group. We also had a challenge to detain on and offsite watersheds for rerouting to pre-existing conditions, and our in-house Hydrology experts stepped up to the plate and executed this flawlessly.
